We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR professional to work with this exciting and industry resepected business based in Middlesex.
*To control all personnel administration, implementing a suitable and secure system to ensure all documents are effectively stored in line with GDPR.
*To produce offer letters and basic starter pack on receipt of an approved recruitment authorisation form and a starter form
*On receipt of a returned signed offer letters and confirmation of acceptance and start date, Prepare a full started pack as per the HR checklist
*Schedule the employee to attend the Head Office on their day to complete all HR paperwork (schedule 30 Minutes)
*To create a personnel file for all new starters both paper based and electronically
*Send a probationary diary reminder to managers for all new starters
*To prepare extension to probation letters as required by managers
*To carry out all employment referencing and credit checks to the required standard, 2 references for none FCA roles and 5 years for FCA roles. (chase to ensure compliance)
*Respond to reference requests in line with the company policy
*Carry out a basic criminal record checks for all FCA roles via Experian
*Carry out a driving licence check for all employees who have access to drive a company or costumer car
*Carry out an annual check for all company car users / employees / spouses and provide a report of the findings to the group HR Manager and Directors
*To complete all maternity leave letters including the required dates ensuring this is communicated to payroll
*To set up all New starters on Gemini and assign a payroll number
*To ensure that all leavers are processed in line with the leavers forms received from managers check for accuracy. Send an acceptance of resignation letter including the exit interview questionnaire.
*Compile the Starters / leavers / amendments list each month. Distribute to each line manager for verification. Once confirmed, send to payroll along with all documentation in a secure tagged bag in line with GDPR requirements at payroll cut off.
*Provide a monthly starters and leavers list to the Communications Centre/ IT and the Group Compliance Manager
*To request fuel cards for all new starters and distribute accordingly
*To cancel all fuel cards for leavers
*To request log in details for all new starters for required on line training
*To manager and administer the Cycle to work scheme
*To schedule the monthly induction for all new starters conjunction with the Head of Academy
*To adhere to the data protection act (GDPR) and ensure FULL confidentiality of any information discussed or contained within the department.
*To assist with communicating with the marketing department regarding placing and removing adverts on the careers website.
*To assist Group HR Manager with writing and updating Job Descriptions.
*To prepare Investigate / disciplinary documentation ensuring that the Group HR Manager has been consulted and approved prior to issuing.
*To carry out note taking duties during investigative / Disciplinary hearings
*To offer /sound Generalist HR Advice to line managers regarding policies and procedure and legislation.
*To be able to extract data from Gemini and compile a monthly report of all starters and leavers and their recruitment source
*To produce monthly labour turnover figures for the HR Manager and Directors
*To Manage the Company Careers website
*To carry out site visits to meet with line managers to discuss any HR issues or needs.
*To assist the Group HR Manager to carry out a review of the employee handbook
*To assist with the Best Companies process
