MOT Testers,

MOT Tester Duties
• Conducting MOT - Vehicle Inspections in accordance with the Vehicle Inspectorates laid down procedures and completing all documentation in relation to inspections.
• Completing all MOT's efficiently and thoroughly.
• Identify worn and faulty components in accordance with brand requirements
• Ensure calibration and maintenance programmes are completed as per Ministry requirements and Manufacture requirements.
• Routinely inspect tools and equipment and assess serviceability to undertake MOT tests.
MOT Tester Requirements
• Valid VOSA Smart card to carry out MOTS for Class 4 vehicles. (Class 7 would be an advantage)
• Good Eye for detail
• Ability to complete paperwork efficiently and effectively
• Ability to communicate with customers face to face if required
